Dear Toilet,

Lately I find myself particularly grateful for you and all that you do.  It really is a shame you have such a bad rap...I know no one likes to clean you, and you are know to be the germiest place in the house.  You also take quite a bit of abuse around here...sorry, I doubt having yet another boy in the family will help much.
You have been a shoulder to lean on when my husband couldn't stand me throwing up on him anymore, and you certainly have proved yourself a worthy friend tolerating visits from certain family members (sorry dad).
Now that Ethan has discovered that you're nice and for over his fear of you, you have taken the responsibility off my hands of disposing of his caca, and I have to say in a much more classy way than I could ever do.  Ethan just cannot get enough of saying goodbye to his pee pee and poo poo and at the flip of your trigger,  you blissfully take care of his business and as well as being a true source of entrainment.  I hope for your sake he doesn't figure out anything else can flush in there as well.
Thanks for tolerating the P & P, vomit, diarrhea, and the occasional toy... I promise to try to clean you more, although just between me and you, I haven't exactly been known for being the most reliable at keeping my promises, but until then, happy flushing friend!

Dear Library,

Thank you for not only providing entertainment every Wednesday morning for my two year old, who especially fancies the songs that involve standing on the chair and making monster noises, but also for the bathroom entertainment.  Thanks to you my son has new and exciting motivation to sit on the toilet..."Shark vs. Train" and "Honk Honk Beep Beep" have been monumental and apparently inspirational in the pooping process!
P.S. Sorry if some of the pages are a bit water damaged...we have not mastered the toilet etiquette yet...

A Day At Grandpa Mullins...no wonder Ethan never wants to leave!

The day begins crawling into bed with grandpa and grandma.
And a pillow fight or two...
 a shave...
 Ethan's turn...
 new green toothbrush...
brush together...(thanks for teaching good hygiene dad!)
 playing with Rudolf's nose...
 and grandpa's turn...
 trains!!!!
 with Dad too!!
Could life get better than this?  I submit that it cannot!
All tuckered out after a long day!
This is by far my favorite picture of the day however...if you are wondering what they are doing, Grandpa is trying to put on Ethan's shoes...a little out of practice I think Pa!

Ethan cheers to resolutions...

One of Cecil's resolutions this year is to give up soda...Ethan is not eager for this.  He sneaks in the fridge and gets Dad's drinks and if he's lucky he gets a sip before mom catches him!
He know better...mom thinks the resolution is sound, especially when caffeine is involved!

Just Me and the Boys!

Handsome boys:
Boys will be boys...and I will be me...

Ethan's pretty cute with his J.J. He always wants to lay next to him and give him kisses now...
and move him...and sometimes cover his head with blankets...uh

I went to clear the kitchen table and turned around to this:

Upon closer examination he is showing Jacob his green jeep.

And Ethan was the one who covered him up with the blanket...this time not on his face!

And showing some other cars:
Ethan is so excited to wear his tie now because both Dad and Grandpa wear them...whenever he sees grandpa in his tie he says, "grandpa church...temple."
We are so lucky to see my parents so often.  The other day Dad told me he woke up and said to mom, "Shannon is coming with the boys today!"  I love my boys!  I like mom's face in this one:
 And Jake's in this one:
 The Dude is growing fast...

P.S. Big pet peeve of mine is when people see my kids and ask how old they are and then looked shocked and say, "wow, you must have great milk!"  Okay, next to, "you look like you are about to pop." this is an awkward comment...it makes me wonder why the growth of my baby makes them jump to thinking about my breast milk...weird...

Ethan in 3D!!

We have a 3D t.v...temporarily and even though Ethan only lasts like 5 minutes with the glasses, he thinks it's pretty cook wearing the "magic" glasses!
So we were all hanging out on the bed and talking and Ethan crawled behind me and and was playing with something and I hear him keep saying, "Mooooooom, watch show...watch show mom!" over and over again until I look back and this is what I see:
What a poser...it's because Cecil took the pic.

Ho! Ho! Ho!

What would a visit to G-ma Seright be without a bath for the babies?!  The baby whisperer strikes again and makes my boy feel right at home in the sink hot tub!
 He loved it!
G-ma Walters...J.J. likes her apartment...it's probably all the warmth!
Ethan got to be Jesus this year in the Nativity and he actually liked it!
His cousin is cradling the baby Jesus...We had a nice little program and sang some songs.  Ethan didn't want to singing to end.  he kept saying "more, more song mom"
 And Santa slept...
Sleeping on the job eh Santa?
And all the fun Christmas morning!
