Road Trip...again!

Ode to Minnesota

Our last family photo in the land of 10,000 lakes! We went to the science museum downtown and up to uptown and Grand Avenue that overlooked the Mississippi River our last weekend in MN! It was beautiful! We will miss you MN!

Oh the dreaded family picture...ha ha...thank you self-photo-taker mechanism! Most of the family was here for the blessing of little Gwen! It was a blast to be with the family, especially all those cousins we don't get to see very often!

Now there are two classy grandparents...they are doing there political wave...he learned that from watching Miss America every year!

Blow Up Slide

The G-parents are awesome and have this great toy. It a blow up water slide and it was Ethan's day to shine! At first he just whined and didn't want to do anything, but after daddy let him fly down the slide a few times he started to really enjoy it! It was cute-this is the only pic we got of him because the hose was squirting all over the place!

The Many Faces of Ethan

Although Ethan has been sick the last few days and cutting teeth like CRAZY, he has been so funny! Here are just a few of his little expressions:

I Love Bear!

Every time we go into G-ma's closet the little guy always looks at the top shelf at something fuzzy sticking out...turns our it's an old stuffed bear mom got from Dave one year and she has been stashing it up there. We couldn't figure out what he was looking for for the longest time but finally after a lot of grunting and yelling (on his part, not mine), this clueless mother got it! And so Ethan has a new best friend...until his cousins get here anyway!

He just jumps on it and rolls all over it.

He even carries it around with him.

What do we do in MN?

Ride the tractor, ride the tractor, ride the tractor...no but seriously, every time he is fussy or sees the shed he whines until he gets a ride!

Play in the yard with dad.

Work out.

Vacuum...Funny story...I let him play with the sucky part and he stuck it his mouth and totally sucked his tongue in! It was the funniest thing! I thought he was going to cry, but he just laughed! Hilarious boy!

Shoes...

I am totally for having a bare foot baby, but with the prickly mulch and Buddy at the brink of walking I figured some shoes were in season! So we went to the store and tried on some shoes well Ethan just started screaming and yelling...the two ladies at the counter kept looking over at us- we just laughed and said, "first pair of shoes"...they both laughed and gave us the look of understanding! We finally did find some that worked although I have to say he has only successfully worn them once, but we are practicing!

Old Toys

Ethan is tired of the one little box of toys we brought so G-ma brought out the good stuff and what do you know she pulled out some of my old toys! This little kitchen set I remember getting Christmas when I was three! Lets hope it does better things for him than it did for me!
