SunRiver Days

Mom and Dad came out for a couple weeks and we got to spend some time with them down in their new place in St. George. Dave and Leah were there too so we all joined in a good 'ol senior citizen's game of Pickle Ball...that's right, and it was awesome, even with the wind gusts! Ethan obviously looks thrilled to be there too...he didn't sleep much that weekend!

Leah even surprised us at her agility even at 6-months pregnant! We did however learn why she was a gymnast and not a softball player...
Dave probably missed this shot...should have worn the sunglasses I offered him...

A little visit up north...

We went up north for a few days to hang out with Cecil's fam. We spent some time with Clint and Cor which was really fun! Me and Cor went shopping one night and the husbands offered to watch the boys for us while we went and it was awesome. When we came back this is what we found...

Winter...

Cec brought home a little gift for Ethan for Christmas, but the hat was huge! So now it finally fits and he looks so cute in it...or at least I think so...but then again, maybe I'm biased!

Bath Time

Little Buddy always gets excited when he takes a bath! If he is ever crying or upset we can just walk in the bathroom and he stops crying because he thinks we will put him in the bath tub! It's funny he likes it so much because he doesn't even wiggle that much or anything; he just lays there and sucks on the wash cloth.

Daddy was upset about the previous naked pictures of our son, so we made this one modest!

His favorite part is really when daddy lathers him down after with lotion! He gives him a little massage and Ethan loves it!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Our ward had a Valentine's Day dance and so we used it as an excuse to get all dressed up nice and fancy and go dance. I cut up one of Cecil's old ties and manufactured a quick bow tie for the little guy that would match mom and dad. He got tons of compliments and was a total cheese ball when it came to taking pictures...although needless to say we got to the church and stayed just long enough for a family picture, 2 carrots, a half a cookie and one and a half songs before neither father nor son could handle any more. So we had to make it an early night and put the dude to bed, which by the time we got home he decided he was too wound up and would rather stay awake until 11...so much for the bow tie I guess...

Da Gangsta

This is the first time the little hoodlum has used his hat. It actually seemed to fit real big forward facing so I turned it and he thought it was pretty funny. He was really happy today. Mama loves him...as long as he really doesn't become a gangsta like M&M or one of those freaks...no offense Vanilla Ice.

Ethan finally convinced me to give him some solidy goodness and he was LOVING it!! This is his second day at it actually and boy he knew it was coming as soon as i put that bib on him! Since we don't have much room for a high chair in our apartment I am learning the mama-hold-my-arms-down-or-I-will-get-all-messy hold. You simply sit the child on one leg securing one arm behind your back leaving preferably your dominate arm free to scoop the food while your other arm secures baby's other arm! It works like a charm. We tried it in a high chair and ended with food all over the kitchen...maybe later little buckaroo!
