Four Generations!

This is when we went up north to Bill's wedding. Cecil, his mom, Elo, Grandpa Cecil and little Ethan...four generations! Grandpa was so excited we came. Any time he gets visitors he takes us in his back room where he has collected tons of baby clothes and toys. He always gives us some sacs and we choose what we want. He is wonderful!

Coming Home

We finally got to come home and it's a good thing Cecil was home with me to help me out...look how cute they are together.

Sleep in the hospital?

Cecil stayed overnight with me and Ethan Shane but the little pull out bed was pretty uncomfortable so he and I stared a bed. It was actually pretty nice we both fit now that I wasn't burdened with a gigantic belly anymore! When I woke up I looked back to check the baby and this is what I saw...like father like son...how beautiful!

Here's Buddy!!!

Baby was born at 11:58am on September 15th! As you can see he was 8 lbs. 9 oz. He seems to look mostly like Cecil...I asked the nurse if he was really mine because I didn't see me in him, but I later discovered he has my lungs, nose and thighs...and perhaps the double chin! While the nurses weighed him in they kept saying, "Wow, he's big all over isn't he?!" Of-course me and Cec didn't know if baby would be a boy or a girl and our name list was only narrowed down to about 5 for each sex, so when the nurses asked what they should call him we simply said, "well just call him Buddy." They laughed, but that's how he was known until we finally decided right before we left the hospital. What they didn't know was that I actually liked that name because he would be guaranteed to be loved. Everyone loves Buddy...it's just such a friendly name! Cecil vetoed that option!

Collecting My Pee

So I had high blood pressure this ONE time and they worry I have preeclamsia so I have to store my urine for 24 hours and keep it in this sweet harvest bottle in our fridge. Cec thought it was pretty funny!
